Court of the Third Age of the SP Street Carnival – Itaquerendo Folia (composed of King and Queen of Folia).
According to data from the State Fund for the Elderly, in São Paulo, the elderly population already represented, in 2014, 12.9% of all inhabitants of the State and this new population profile calls for integrated actions to guarantee the active aging of the elderly and strengthen its importance in society (which reinforces our interest in the subject and justifies the implementation of said action)

Mauro Francisco, 65 years old, and Vera Lucia, 64 years old, married, residents of the Itaquera region, have been in the world of festivities (carnival) for over 40 years and are, today, red and white at heart (Escola de Samba Leandro de Itaquera) and J. Ivo Brasil (Producer of the Bloco Itaquerendo Folia, of the Court of the Third Age of the SP Street Carnival – King and Queen of Folia and other projects of the OSC Itaquerendo Folia)
